Skammentary: The story of how the disparate elements of "House of Fun" were assembled into Madness's biggest U.K. hit is fascinating: Wikipedia-link. Continuing the vague discussion begun in yesterday's skammentary, just because I like a song doesn't mean I endorse it's content: If sixteen-year-old boys kept it in their pants, there would be no need to visit the chemist's to buy rubbers & thus the slang-based misunderstandings in "House of Fun" might have been avoided.
