Commentary: "The Circle" begins with something new in the introductory voiceover, "And now, the continuation" in lieu of the customary, "And now, the conclusion," because the first three episodes of season two—"The Homecoming," "The Circle," & "The Siege"—are the first three-parter in Star Trek history. If you want to know how big a nerd I am, this absolutely thrills me, even after thirty years.
