Commentary: Thus concludes the first three-parter in Star Trek history. "The Homecoming," "The Circle," & "The Siege" continue on directly from the first-season finale, "In the Hands of the Prophets." These three episodes reset the standard for Star Trek storytelling, all of them telling one cohesive story, yet each also telling its own episodic story—the best of both worlds!
