Be my anti-Valentine. (This year, I thought I'd experiment with being a little more cheeky.)

The Rebel Black Dot Song of Valentine's Day
The Hippos, "Say You Love Me" from The Hippos (T.L.A.M.)

Commentary: My contempt for Valentine's Day is rooted firmly in my nature as a sentimentalist and romantic, a man appalled by the idea that romantic love may only be expressed through the purchase of greeting cards, chocolates, flowers, sex toys, and diamonds.

"I will not rest until you are with me,
No, I will not rest until you are with me,
I swear, I swear, it's all that I need,
I swear, I swear, it's all that I need,
Say you love me."

The Gal and I aren't very religious, so we don't really celebrate any of the feast days.

I'm appalled that romantic love be expressed through purchases, but I'm always a fan of it being expressed through lots and lots of sex.

In that spirit, I am sexting my 24 year old out in LA. Whatever works, I guess.

Classy!

I have to say, at no time in my life have I ever claimed to be classy. To that effect I would have much rather been meeting up with him then merely sending texts. Oh well.

My 4th annual VD soirée, however, was totally classless and awesome and full of cupcakes. As usual.

Make no mistake, Watergirl, you're a classy broad, a real dame.

I guess that qualifies me only by my hypothesis that anyone who actually calls themself class is, by definition, not.

You're a straight shooter, you pretend to be nothing other than what you are. That forthrightness is the first and most crucial element of genuine class.

Indeed. That makes me wonder, however, what the crucial element is of Jeremy's iron?
