The Queue

As usual, there is little to report when I'm working my way through Vanished Kingdoms, though in particular my miserable experience working for Friends of the Master has curtailed my reading. The current chapter is stupefyingly dull, concerning one of the erstwhile German statelets, specifically a single castle that was beloved of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom & her consort, Prince Albert, historical personages in whom I have little interest.

I, along with my Popish Plot co-plotters Brother & Mrs. Envy, am reading Why We're Catholic as part of a Catholic YouTubers book club collaboration. The collaboration schedule will conclude before the end of the liturgical year (Saturday, 1 December); so, I need to finish Why We're Catholic by Thanksgiving.

By next weekend, by the centenary of the Armistice on 11 November, I will begin reading Paris 1919.
