Two cable guys came by and we're back in business.

The League of Nations
Notice, 20,000 Frenchmen MIGHT be in danger in Ivory Coast and the United Nations swings into action with an arms embargo. Hyperlink. Meanwhile, 70,000 Sudanese ARE DEAD and Sudan still sits on the Human Rights Commission. If this is not a dysfuntional organization, I don't know what is. I am sorely disappointed that President Bush has not told the UN to sit on the bench while we take care of this, or at least give the African Union license to kill at the janjweed they can lay their hands on. (When all else fails, sic the Nigerians on them.) We have not been able to pass a stronger Un resolution on Darfur because of a threatened French veto. Notice how we do not play politics with people's lives the way they do; we supported their mission in Ivory Coast at the same tiem they refuse to let us stop the slaughter in Darfur. I'm sorry, guys, but France really isn't a force for good in this world.

If you can make an arguent that they are, please comment, or if want more space to make your case, email me at rebelblackdot@gmail.com and I'll post it here on the Secret Base.

Have a suspicious night.
