Commentary: Another member of a holy family, St. Mathilda's grandmother was an abbess; her children included a Holy Roman Emperor (Otto the Great), an archbishop & saint (St. Bruno the Great), & a Queen of France (Gerbega of Saxony); her daughter-in-law was a saint (St. Adelaide of Italy); & her grandchildren included a King of France (Hugh Capet).

Yesterday we remembered Saint Leander of Seville (c. 534-c. 600), bishop: Saint-link ūnus, Saint-link duo, & Wikipedia-link.
Commentary: According to the sources cited above, at least one & up to three of St. Leander's siblings are also canonized saints, including the far-famed St. Isidore of Seville. I choose not to resist: Talk about a holy family!
