The Rebel Black Dot Song of the Day

Aloe Blacc, "Here Today" from Lift Your Spirit (The Last Angry Man)

Commentary: This last non-Advent/Christmas-themed R.B.D.S.O.T.D. is a reminder, to me more than anyone else, to fight & to strive & to struggle to make the most of the gift that is each day. For as the Scriptures teach us, we are but puffs of smoke that appear today & then vanish (James, 4:14).
"All I know for sure is that nothing is forever
And all that matter is how we get along together—

"'Cause we're here today and gone tomorrow,
We're here today and gone tomorrow,
Through the joy and the sorrow,
We're here today and gone tomorrow.

"We ain't promised tomorrow…"

Also, I'm trying (& not really succeeding) not to be blinded by bitterness that the valiant Wolverines are not playing in tonight's B1G Championship Game, thank you very much, Wilton Speight.
