Commentary: In today's Gospel, the Lord Jesus appoints seventy-two disciples to act as heralds. To those who accept Christ's peace, they are to say:
"The kingdom of God is at hand for you." (Luke, 10:9)To those who reject Christ's peace, the same holds true:
Yet know this: the kingdom of God is at hand. (Luke, 10:11)
