Commentary: Quoth the Holy Redeemer bulletin:
Pentecost was the occasion of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles & other followers of Jsus Christ, as described in the Acts of the Apostles, 2:1-31, & therefore in the Christian liturgical year, it became a feast commemorating this occasion. For this reason, Pentecost is described by some Christians as the "Birthday of the Church."
Otherwise, 15 May would be the feast of Saint Isidore the Farmer (circa 1070-1130), husband of Bl. Maria Toriba: Saint-link ūnus, Saint-link duo, & Wikipedia-link.
Commentary: Wayback Machine. Quoth the Holy Family bulletin:
St. Isisore was born in Madrid, Spain & was a farm laborer for his entire life. He married a poor girl who was as holy as himself. After their one son died in infancy, they lived the rest of their married lives in perfect chastity. Isidore was a man of intense prayer & his life was marked by numerous miracles & supernatural interventions. Both he & his wife are venerated as saints. He was formally canonized in 1622 along with St. Teresa of Ávila (15 October), St Ignatius (of Loyola, 31 July), & St. Philip Neri (26 May). The body of St. Isidore is still intact.'Twould also be the feast of Blessed Maria Toriba (died circa 1175, A.K.A. de la Cabeza), widow of St. Isidore the Farmer: Blessed-link & Wikipedia-link.
