Commentary: "Statehouse" is about the 2015 removal of the Confederate swastika from the grounds of the South Carolina State House, the highlight of Governor Nikki Haley's career in public service. Patriotic love for these United States requires neither insisting that we Americans have never done anything wrong (an error of too many on the right) nor insisting that we Americans have never done anything right (an error of too many on the left).
