The Loose Ties, "OK, Sure" from Champ of the Week (Mike Papa Wolverine)
Commentary: The valiant Wolverines dropped out of the Associated Press poll, & rightly so after last week's pathetic showing. Either the valiant Wolverines both overlooked the epithetless Broncos last Saturday & played terribly, or Team 147 are bums. In either case, they don't belong in the top twenty-five, noy until they show they are at least trying to live up to their potential.
Quite apart from that, I am sick & tired of playing Oklahoma & Texas. The valiant Wolverines played the epithetless Longhorns in 2024, both the epithetless Sooners & the epithetless Longhorns (bowl game) in 2025, the epithetless Sooners today (completing a home-&-home series), & are scheduled to play the epithetless Longhorns in either 2027 or 2028 (completing a home-&-home series). Michigan is not in the Southeastern Conference! Michigan is not in the Big XII Conference! Michigan is not in the old Southwest Conference! We never play against Norte Dame, located just a few hours from Ann Arbor, but we have to play either or both Oklahoma & Texas every year? This is bullshit & I am sick & tired of it.
At least today's game is at noon.
