The Rebel Black Dot Anti-Valentine's Song of the Day

A New Found Glory, "Boy Crazy" from New Found Glory (T.L.A.M.)

Commentary:

"Some girls are crazy!
Just listen to what have to say about it:
You got to watch out for the beautiful ones,
They'll twist your head right off your neck
And laugh about it with their friends,
That's just one night for them.

"They target you with their eyes
And move with their lips
And it pulls you in!
She shuts you down with her voice again,
And now, are you listening?

"This song goes out to girls
That we haven't met just yet,
This song's for stupid girls
Who think that every boy is all about them,
About them…"

Single-digit Fahrenheit temperatures have prompted me to sport the Finnish ushanka I inherited from Grandpa Wilson upon his demise, now over fifteen years ago. The ear flaps are still tied together at the top of the hat, but should I spend any sustained period outside they will be deployed to great effect. Wearing the ushanka is an ever greater joy since I've embarked upon the bewhiskered life, because it means everything above my scarf is one conglomerated fuzzball. And with the turn of phrase I'm now thinking about my childhood teddy bear, Fuzzball. Bonus!

Stay warm out there. This winter's a pussy cat compared to the last, but there is still plenty of fury left before the spring thaw. Love it!
