Skammentary: SKAugust is at an end & so is the summer. This is a last Friday of the summer. College football starts in earnest tomorrow, Saturday, & Labor Day follows on Monday. By this time next week, the cruel, hot summer will be over &, though the temperatures will still be summer-high, the long, hard fall will have begun. Prithee, dear readers, try your level best to enjoy these last few fleeting days of another summer gone by in the blink of an eye. Tempus fugit!
