Commentary: The Vorta (though her species was not yet known) Eris's chilling words before teleporting off Starbase Deep Space 9, to parts unknown, near the end of "The Jem'Hadar:"
"You have no idea what's begun here."The Dominion was lightly teased throughout season two, mentioned in "Rules of Acquisition" (episode seven), "Sanctuary" (episode ten), & "Shadowplay" (episode sixteen), but the mystery was never pursued by our heroes. That said, the mystery of the Dominion would unfold throughout season three, & deepen throughout the rest of the series, being a constant, in the foreground of almost all major events & in the background of even minor events.
