The Rebel Black Dot Song o' Today: SKAfter Party

Mittwoch, 27. Mai
Less Than Jake, "Whatever the Weather" from the Sound the Alarm E.P. (Rude Boy Mike Papa Whiskey)

Skammentary: I had a different R.B.D.S.O.T.D. lined up to celebrate the launch of DM-2, the first launch of a crewed spacecraft to orbit from American soil in danged near nine years (the longest period without a launch since Alan Shepard barked at Mission Control, "Why don't you fix your little problem & light this candle!," on 5 May 1961), but since the launch was scrubbed due to unfavorable weather conditions, that song would have seemed gauche. Make no mistake, the title of today's R.B.D.S.O.T.D. notwithstanding, I do not in any way doubt that scrubbing the launch was the right call.
"It's out of my hands, these too-heavy times,
No matter the weather, I'll never waver…"
