Skammentary: I became aware of the Toyko Ska Paradise Orchestra through a casual mention by Sergeant Ska (formerly Ska Army). "All Good Ska Is One" is not the song he mentioned & so he does not get official credit for the nomination, but it would be uncouth of me not to mention his vital role in introducing me to "Skapara" (A.K.A. T.S.P.O.). "All Good Ska Is One" is perfect ska: a fun yet serious ode to & call for the unity of all peoples. Black or white, Jamaican or Japanese, man or woman, saint or stranger, we are all one.
